Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026. This policy describes information collected through Psychiatry Watch at psychiatrywatch.com. It applies to this publication, not every third-party service linked from our reporting.
Information you give us
Our contact form collects first and last name, email, optional telephone number and message. Newsletter registration collects email and explicit consent. Please do not submit medical records, diagnoses, payment details or other sensitive information. Contact requests are not a clinical service.
How information is used
We use contact details to read and respond to inquiries, investigate corrections and prevent abuse. Messages are stored privately and an owner notification identifies this publication; delivery uses a shared authenticated notification domain, notify.neurovo.com. Replying may use the email you supplied. Newsletter addresses are collected for later editorial communication; collection does not mean a newsletter delivery service is currently active.
Cookies, consent and analytics
Essential browser storage supports site operation and remembers consent. Staff sign-in and publication previews use authentication and preview storage. Optional analytics or tracking configured by the owner load only after visitor consent on public pages. Settings can vary by publication and change over time; we do not claim all sites use the same analytics vendors. You can decline optional tracking and adjust browser storage settings. Disabling essential storage may affect sign-in or saved preferences.
Service providers and external links
Hosting, private storage and transactional email providers process information needed to run the site. Source links, embedded media and advertisements may lead to independent providers with their own policies. Clicking an external link can disclose standard request information to its destination. We do not control those services and do not treat a citation as an endorsement.
Retention and security
We retain submissions and signups for operational and editorial needs, subject to deletion requests and legal obligations. A fixed automatic retention schedule is not currently configured. Access to submissions is restricted to authorized staff for this publication. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask to access, correct or delete submitted information or withdraw newsletter consent through our contact page. Rights under applicable laws may depend on residence, the information involved and whether the law applies to the operator. We may request information needed to verify a request without asking for sensitive medical details. This policy does not certify GDPR, CCPA or any other legal compliance. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; a parent or guardian can contact us to request removal.
Changes and questions
Material changes will be reflected in this page and its revision date. Contact us for current operator details, privacy questions or concerns. This policy describes implemented practices and remains subject to owner and legal review.
